AmazonS3 Storage exception: Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException'

Hello, we are seeing this Cloud convert error when converting many different word documents to pdf. Is there an issue with Amazon storage there?

We have noticed some intermittent memory issues with our service and logged a ticket(CONVERSIONCLOUD-545) to investigate the issue. We will keep you updated about the issue resolution progress.

Has there been any update on this matter. We are also seeing similar errors inconsistently, but throughout the day for the past few days. The log entry from this morning is below:

We are sorry for the inconvenience. The issue is still not resolved completely, but we are looking into it with high priority.

If it would help, I can provide log files of failure times and source files that correspond to the failures. We are seeing many more failures today.

We have made some changes to our servers, and it seems the issue is fixed. However, we will continue monitoring the issue.

I don’t have a particular sample document to share as a variety of image, docx, xlsx, and other files fail. Nor can I provide you with our code as it is for proprietary, in-house use. However, I can give you job id’s that may help you trace problems in your log files.

Thanks for your feedback. Yes, please share your job id(request ids) for the exception. However, after fine-tuning the GroupDocs.Conversion Cloud service, we are not noticing any more out of memory exceptions today.

Here is the log from today. Note that we are retrying 4 times and sometimes this results in a successful conversion and sometimes it does not.

Please confirm your Client Id, as we are unable to find any failures in our logs against your account email id.

Thanks for sharing your Client Id. We have noticed two OutOfMemory exceptions in the last 7 days against it. The situation has improved; however, we are still monitoring it.

This morning we found 27 failed conversion jobs over the weekend. Of those, all but two have been successfully retried.
